In this scenario, the customer's technician will measure the vehicle. We will provide them with a Measurement Instructions Manual, and we are available to offer live remote assistance by prior arrangement. The Inventure FMS Gateway tool can be used for remote measurement. After the measurement, the technician will send us the measured data, which will be reverse engineered by our engineers.
If the vehicle is not on our supported vehicle list, you must first determine if it is eligible for measurement. Does it have a CAN network? To determine this, we require the vehicle's specifications, such as the VIN plate, model plate, engine code, and vehicle registration document.
If it is eligible, the measurement can be performed in various ways. We can measure the vehicle on a project basis or measure multiple vehicles simultaneously at a reduced cost. Another option is remote measurement, but it is important to note that the success rate of measurements is often lower.
The provided parameters may vary from vehicle to vehicle. In general, we can provide FMS 3.0 parameters and Inventure extra parameters.
FMS Standard parameters:
Total Fuel Used; Fuel Level; Engine Speed; Engine Total Hours of Operation; Vehicle Identification Number; High Resolution Total Vehicle Distance; Driver 1 and 2 Identification Card; Tachograph Information; Engine Coolant Temperature; Ambient Air Temperature; Engine Fuel Rate; High Resolution Engine Total Fuel Used; Aftertreatment Catalyst Tank Level; Engine Load; Axle Weight; Service Distance; Gross Combination Vehicle Weight; Retarder information; Parking Brake Switch; Wheel-Based Vehicle Speed; Clutch Switch; Brake Switch; Cruise Control Active ; PTO Governor State; Accelerator Pedal Position
Extra Inventure parameters (supported non-FMS parameters):
Status of Doors; Gear information; Brake Pedal Position ; Hybrid Battery Pack Remaining Charge; Steering Wheel Angle; Ecodriving; Reefer modul; Trailer modul; Dtco modul; EV modul (eg.: SoC) ... and more
It depends on the vehicle. In most cases, we are able to provide fuel data from CAN.
