Sales Development Lead

Hey there!

Inventure is an OEM-independent automotive technology company specializing in aftermarket vehicle telematics. Our technology reads and interprets the internal communication of vehicles — enabling telematics service providers, fleet operators, and mobility companies to build smarter, data-driven services on top of it. We work with partners across more than 85 countries, from North America and Latin America through Europe to Asia-Pacific. The Hungarian market represents less than 3% of our business. This is a genuinely global role.

We are currently building a structured internal sales team to support our next growth phase. The Sales Development Lead is the cornerstone hire of that effort.

The Role

This is a hunter-first position with a clear leadership trajectory. In the first 9 months, your focus is pipeline creation: identifying the right accounts, opening doors, running discovery conversations, and feeding a disciplined sales process. From month 9 onward, you progressively take ownership of the full sales cycle — and within 12–18 months, you step into an operational team lead role, coordinating and mentoring the junior members of the internal sales team.

This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from day one. It is a role for someone who wants to earn that position by proving they can execute first.

What You Will Do

Months 0–9: Pipeline builder:

  • Build targeted account lists based on defined ICP criteria
  • Run high-volume proactive outreach via LinkedIn, email, and direct contact
  • Lead discovery calls and qualify opportunities with support from the sales lead
  • Maintain full CRM discipline in Salesforce — every interaction, next step, and deal status logged in real time
  • Develop deep product and market knowledge across the telematics ecosystem

Months 9–18: Full cycle ownership and team coordination:

  • Own deals end-to-end from discovery through close
  • Mentor and coordinate junior sales team members
  • Contribute to weekly pipeline reviews and targeting
  • Represent Inventure at international partner level

Who You Are

  • You have 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in tech, IoT, telematics, mobility, or a similarly complex product environment
  • You are a self-starter who does not wait for inbound leads — you build your own pipeline
  • You are comfortable running conversations with fleet managers, IT leaders, procurement, and C-level contacts in English
  • You thrive in high-volume outreach environments and do not lose momentum when the pipeline is slow
  • You work in a structured, process-driven way — CRM is a decision-support tool for you, not administrative overhead
  • You have a genuine appetite for a team lead role and understand that it must be earned through execution
  • Your English is C1 or above — ALL client communication, negotiation, and documentation happens in English
  • You hold a valid driver's license and are confident driving abroad — occasional international business visits are part of the role.

What Makes This Opportunity Distinct

  • You join at the moment the internal sales function is being built — your fingerprint will be on its structure
  • A defined path to operational team lead within 12–18 months, not as a vague promise but as a planned organizational step
  • Exposure to a genuinely global partner network across 85+ countries
  • A technically sophisticated product in a fast-moving industry with real competitive differentiation
  • Direct access to senior leadership and meaningful input into how the sales organization evolves

What We Offer

  • Flexible, hybrid work setup — most client interaction happens online across time zones
  • A small, international team where decisions move fast
  • Cafeteria, scalable private health insurance
  • Participation in domain-specific international conferences and exhibitions
  • Real ownership of your market from early on
